My cuties started soccer last week. This is their first time ever playing organized sports, and they were so excited to get to their first practice! Here are some pictures from the practice. It was pure chaos. ;) There were legs everywhere, kids just running all over, out of bounds, chasing a ball. And they loved it all!
And here they are on the day of the 1st big game - most of their Saturday was spent asking me how long until the game. They didn't get their "Spurs" (yep! it was fitting due to their team colors) uniforms until we arrived at the field. Rhianna is the announcer. :)
And here are more pictures from the game - again, lots of kiddos just running running running! Liam is number 6 and Ronin is number 7! Daddy sez single digits are lucky. I say no matter what, they've got great numbers. :)
They were hot, tired, and a bit bruised, but they had a lot of fun. :) Three cheers to learning how to work together as a team and sportsmanship!!

Oh boy! Oh BOY! I WISH my kids were back on the soccer field! I really do! Those were some of the best times of my life! I am super jealous here! I can't WAIT until Luz starts playing...
Jae... a LOT of learning is going to be done on those fields over the years. A LOT! Your boys are going to learn ... and YOU are going to learn. And they're not all going to be fun or easy lessons. But they are all IMPORTANT lessons. Soccer is a gOOd thing!
It really is fun. I played soccer in high school (the ONLY sport I played! LOL!), and really enjoyed it. The boys already love it; and our neighbors truly helped to instill a love for the sport long before we allowed them to play it in an organized (or disorganized) manner. ;)
And yep, I'm sure we will all learn along this journey. :)
